Social Centre is a social impact studio based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We run this website, socialcentre.co, and the Impact & Influence and Happy Valley Green content projects. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Social Centre [legal business name, e.g. Social Centre LLC].

Information You Give Us

• Forms on this site (Send a Note, Start a Project, Partner with Us and Book a Workshop): your name, email, organization or handle, your role and website if you add them, the options you pick, your message, and how you found us.
• Newsletter: your email address.
• Booking a call: your name, email, the time you choose and any answers you add when booking through [booking tool, e.g. Calendly].
• Emails to us: whatever you choose to include.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit, our site and analytics tools collect basic technical information, such as your browser and device type, approximate location (city or region, not your exact address), the pages you visit and how you arrived. See Cookies & analytics.

• To reply to your messages and run discovery calls.
• To send the newsletter and updates you signed up for.
• To deliver consulting, coaching or workshop work you’ve agreed to.
• To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.

We don’t use your information for automated decision-making, and we never sell it or rent it to anyone.

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep the site working and, with [analytics tool, e.g. Google Analytics], to see how people use the site in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some embedded content may not.

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has shared information with us, email us and we’ll delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to our accounts, to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive details like passwords or payment information through our forms.

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll tell newsletter subscribers by email.
